Enough already…..

This would be blog number three on my Friday night of my weekend.
I am too eager to get to Iowa City buy the paint for my house and be out enjoying the wonderful weather we are having.
Gotta love it.

I’m smiling smiling smiling….

My weekend has offically started some twenty minutes ago and I have to say all I can do is smile.

Love having a three day weekend.
love that the weather is going to be pleasant and not too hot.
Love that my kids are going to all be here on Monday, minus Paula.
Love that I have the next three days to work in my yard, paint my house, see my family and enjoy life.

Smile smile smile….that is what I’m doing.

time for bed….

well it is almost nine thirty and five am comes awfully early…..so it is time  to call it a night.
I hope all my readers enjoyed some of what I write, and if you don’t……that is alright too…..

happy baby

I was out side this evening and looked up and there was Matt and Keira in her stroller and walking toward us.
And Keira was such a happy baby.
She loves to turn around in circles until she gets dizzy, then she will stop and try to focus with her eyes and just laugh and giggle like it is the funniest thing in the world.
She did this five or six times tonight and I told her she was a drama queen….she loves to entertain.

It is so wonderful to have this adorable little child in my life.
God truely blessed me with this baby.

Thank you Lord.

who climbed the ladder?

You need to go outside, it literally looks like someone went outside and climbed a ladder and hung the moon about a hundred feet off the ground.
It is huge and orange and beautiful.

And I just want to know, who climbed the ladder to hang the moon?
Or did one of God’s angels lean down from heaven and just plant it for us all to enjoy?

cooler temps mean working in the yard again

well I have to say I love this weather we are having.
It is in the high sixties at nine pm and it is suppose to get down into the fifties before morning.
Because it is cooler it makes it more pleasant to be outside and working in the soil.
The bug man finally came two hours and thirty minutes later then he said he would be here, so I went to work in the yard while the smell left the house.
I love working in the soil and playing with my flowers.
I cut down some rose bushes for the winter so I can paint the house this weekend and it was just an enjoyable night to be and working in the yard.

hate waiting

Have I ever mentioned that I hate waiting?
I do, I really do.
I hate it so much that it makes me irratible and hateful and to be honest with you I don’t even like myself at these times.

but I can’t stop myself from acting like an idoit and being a bitch….

because I know I am.

today is another day in the rest of my life………

I haven’t written because I’ve been busy writing on a new story and I have to say, it was flowing so much that hours literally fly by as I’m writing.
I wish I had this going on a heck of a lot more then it does.
Sigh.

And then a job that I wouldn’t mind having is opening up at the nursing home here in WL again.
It would be going back to every other weekend and every other holiday again, but I would say money on driving to Iowa City every day….but I bet they wouldn’t pay more then ten dollars an hour.
And I’m afraid I will have a hard time walking away from my $14.40.

It is hard to decide what to do.
Yes I could ask them what the pay is and see if they would accomodate my fourteen plus dollars….but I just can’t see them doing that.

Ugh…I just can’t decide what to do.
I love having my weekends off, but I can see going back to every other weekend if it was four am to noon like it was when I worked there before.

and then I was asked to make potato salad for Bob’s funeral reception on Saturday which is alright….but then they asked me to make sure that the shelter was clean and the tables are cleaned and such.
And while that might not be such a big deal, I think ugh…more cleaning….ugh…
But it isn’t that bad.

Just another thing to do on my three day weekend.

My brother wrote a very touching blog about Bob and it brought tears to my eyes.
Guess we all were touched by Bob in one way or another.

I am having a exterminator spray our house for Fleas here in a half hour, and it gets a bit disgusting that I have to have this done every damn year.
Sigh.
My husband is a bit more upset about it then I am….and I  hate spending the money on it.
But it needs to be done.

Well this is what is going on with my life and I have a crying a grand daughter that needs a hug from grandma, so I will close for today.

I’m sure she will let me know if she likes it or not.

I like the format and I’m one for change so…..this may stay for a while and then I may find something else to grace my blogs.
