writing bug again

I have the need to write again.
How wonderful!!!
it is flowing again and I can only hope it will stay.
I have started a new story, which I have to say I probably have thirty others that have been started but never finished.
This one I hope can get off the ground
I am happy about it and trying to be more into every character and not just one or two.

I hope it keeps on flowing.

evening with the boys and their children and my daughter in law

the kids were over, or should I say my sons were over with their children and my daughter in law with my youngest son was here too.

Kayla is adorable and talks and screeches and seems to just love the sound of her own voice.

Keira is ornery and adorable as well and I love them both to  pieces.

Mirielle was here too and wanting to be the center of attention but I refuse to let her.
She tends to tattle on Keira and I just tell her Keira knows what she can and can’t do here, so she is fine.

Anyway it was enjoyable to have them all here.
Paula will be here on the weekend and hopefully I will get to see Emily sometime this week……..

another crappy Monday

Have I ever mentioned how much I detest Monday’s?
I do, I really do.
I just hate having the weekend off and then have to be forced to go back to work on Monday.
I hate them with a passion.
And yes while I realize if I had every Monday off I would hate Tuesday’s but it just never seems to end.
And I think it gets worse the older I get.

another life

ever sit and think of what your life would be like if you had taken a different direction?

For instance, my sister moved from Florida back to Iowa a year ago, but what if she hadn’t?
She would be living another life…..one different then the one she is living now.

If I hadn’t remarried my husband, where would I be?
What would I be doing?
Would I be bumming my weekends away waiting for nicer weather in my other life?

my brother married a woman from Canada and lives there now with her, but if he hadn’t met her chances are he would still be in Florida, living a different life…..

I know life is all about choices.
I realize that.

but I do wonder am I the only one who looks at life and thinks…..if I had chosen a different path…..what other life would I be living right now?
Would I be living?
Would I be happy?
Would I be bumming the weekends away….or would I be doing something  exciting and fun….????

always the thought of another life….leaves me wondering…….

Sunday Sunday

well we got maybe an inch of snow with some ice underneath it and of course I had to shovel at the school.
Then we have been home with the grand child.
We had both Keira and Kayla over night but we took Kayla home before we went to Iowa City.
My daughter in law is coming to get Keira right now.

other then that it will be a lazy day  here watching movies my son and brother in law rented through Net Flex.
So….while I wish it was balmy and sun tan weather it is another day inside bumming.

Face book

I joined face book, imagine that.
The girls and I all got together the other night and four of the six of us have already joined face book so they were telling my other sister Cyndi and I, that we needed to drive.
So I did.
Strange and odd in a funny way…but there you have it.

NO!!!!!!!!

it is sleeting and suppose to turn to snow!
NO!!!!!!
Who wants this crap!!!!
How dare mother nature do this to us!!!
UGH!!!!

I heard five to seven inches!!!
But this freaking sleet is ice underneath and that is the very last thing we need.
Ugh

I need to move South.
Unfortunately my loved ones won’t move with me.

Why you may wonder?
Or  maybe you don’t care?
I just a a quirk to do something different with it.
Yes I am still a middle aged woman.
Yes I will continue to ramble but I just wanted something different.

cool sunny day, keep the snow away….

right now it is a bit chilly out side but a very sun filled day.
the sun is very warm and nice.
Especially if you are sitting near a window or in your car.
it is nice.
Chilly as I said but nice….

and yet they are predicting snow.
I sure hope they are wrong about that.
WE DON”T NEED any snow.
And I hope we don’t get any.
I heard from one person three to eight inches and I heard from another one to three.
I don’t want any snow.
Just warmer temps.

Fun night

two of my sisters and two of my nieces and I all met for supper tonight.
It was a blast.
We took many walks down memory lane and it was so fun to just be silly and enjoy ourselves.
I was laughing so hard at times I was crying.
Just a fun fun night.

I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.
We definitely need to do it more.
